Malawi
Emma’s extensive body of work from her time in Malawi was captured whilst volunteering for a Charity called ‘Phunzira’. Based in a small rural village called Ruawre for several months she was able to connect with the local community and form friendships. Her experience confirmed to her that people that have the least, give the most, and are able to find joy in the simplest things. Her images capture the resilience, joy, and warmth of the Malawian spirit.
